Nov. 18, 2020 // 6:15 p.m.

Beginning this Sunday, all in-person services and events will be suspended for the remainder of 2020.

With the rising numbers of COVID-19 infections in our community, including a staff member coming into contact with the virus, we believe this is the best way to love our neighbors and to love one another. Moving forward, our focus will be online worship services—and they’re going to be great, so please join us on our website, social media, or app!

Our plan is to return to campus at the beginning of 2021, but we will make that decision as the dates get closer. Until then, more information will be shared by weekly updates and individual ministries regarding smaller gatherings.

Though we are no longer meeting in-person, we will still press forward with our Thanksgiving Baskets initiative in the safest way possible. If you have not yet picked up a basket, come by the church on Saturday or Sunday from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. to pick-up a basket. We need your help! We will have a contactless drop-off on Monday, Nov. 23 from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Thank you for understanding as we navigate this difficult season, and know that we will get through this together.

Nov. 11, 2020 // 1 p.m.

  • So far, 543 Thanksgiving Baskets have been picked up. That means your generosity will bless 543 families! Thank you! We have another 847 baskets left, so please pick one up (or a second one) this weekend! Drop off is Nov. 23. Find details here.
  • We know that 2020 has been a challenging year for many of you. Please remember that we are here for you and ready to help and pray as needed. Stop by the Next Steps Area on Sundays to meet with a Care Team member, or get in contact with them.
  • As a reminder, we will have our Remembrance and Hope Service at 3 p.m. on Dec. 6. If you’ve lost a loved one that you want to spend time remembering and celebrating before the holidays, sign up here.
  • Happy Veteran’s Day! Thank you to the men and women who have served for the sake of our country. You embody sacrificial love and we are so grateful.

Nov. 4, 2020 // 1 p.m.

  • Pick up your Thanksgiving Basket at church this weekend and fill it with everything needed for a traditional Thanksgiving feast. You can drop it off at CCC on Nov. 23, and we will deliver it to a family in need. Learn more.

Oct. 21, 2020 // 2 p.m.

  • We know some families might not feel ready to attend church in person yet. If that’s you, we wanted to invite you to our 8:30 or 11:30 a.m. service. Both tend to have plenty of space to spread out. We miss you!
  • We love having Josh and Ray around CCC! Josh is from southern Indiana and will be planting in Canton. Ray is from the Chicago-area and will be planting in Shaker Heights. Meet them at the Orchard Meet and Greet on Nov. 1!
